This is a white, team issued Miami jersey made by Nike exclusively for Hurricane football.There is a green Nike swoosh sewn onto the left shoulder and an orange, green and white Big East flag patch sewn onto the right shoulder. An orange and green 'U' logo outlined in white is sewn onto the orange collar at the center front. A thin orange and green stripe is sewn across the front from sleeve to sleeve and across the back just above the numbers. There are green stripes on each sleeve. The numbers are green, outlined in orange and are screened on. There are orange spandex panels adorned with a white and green stripe, running down each side. *The nameplate has been removed. D.J. is considered to be a solid candidate for national honors this season. He had an an excellent season in 2002 as the starter at weakside linebacker. He was one of the top linebackers in college football last season and was one of 11 Butkus Award Semi-Finalists in 2002.
