The Highland Mint minted a 39mm 24KT Gold plated Coin commemorating the 2009 NHL Presidents' Trophy Winner San Jose Sharks, their first in team history. The Trophy awarded to the team with the most points for the season is featured on the front of the Gold Coin with the Commemoration listed on the perimeter and it also features the Team logo as well as the total points accumulated! Each coin is individually numbered on the edge. The coins are protected in clear acrylic capsules to preserve their Mint Condition and displayed in black velour hinged jewelry box. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each coin. This coin is Officially Licensed by the NHL and is a Limited Edition of 2009.
