Taylor earned NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors three times throughout his career while helping the Giants to two Super Bowl titles. The Giants beat the San Francisco 49ers by two points in the NFC Championship game and were matched up against the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV. The Bills missed a field goal with time expiring, giving the Giants a 20-19 Super Bowl victory. Lawrence Taylor finished his career in 1993 with a total of 132.5 sacks and a ten time Pro Bowl selection.
