Chicago White Sox 1985 Road poly/nylon knit jersey # 41On July 1, 1910, Comiskey Park opened as the White Sox played the St. Louis Browns. 75 years later, the White Sox commemorated the longevity of their home with a patch on their jersey. Eleven faithful Pale Hose fans who were in attendance on July 1, 1910, were invited back to help celebrate Comiskey Park's 75th birthday. The White Sox were led by Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver, who won his 300th game during the 1985 season. Seaver finished his career after the 1986 season with 311 victories to his name.
